The Mining and Minerals Hall (MMH) is Europe’s major biennial mining event. An international forum that combines a trade exhibition, a scientific congress and a comprehensive programme of outreach and innovation.
In its 2026 edition, MMH will return to Seville with an enhanced format: it will showcase the latest developments in the sector, host high-level presentations on mineral raw materials, feature an Innovation Hub and open its doors to students and families with outreach activities.
The global context makes it more necessary than ever. While powers such as China and the United States are setting the pace in strategic resources for the energy and digital transition, Europe is seeking to regain prominence. Under the motto “Mining: A Strategic Pillar for Europe’s Future”, MMH 2026 will be the space to debate, propose and build common responses.
The sixth edition of the International Mining Hall is supported by the partnership of two major organisations committed to the success of the event: the Association of Research, Extraction, Processing, Auxiliary and Service Mining-Metallurgical Companies – AMINER, and MMEvents, a company specialised in organising professional events.
The Association of Research, Extraction, Processing, Auxiliary and Service Mining-Metallurgical Companies – AMINER is the non-profit organisation that represents the leading companies in the metallic mining sector and its associated auxiliary network in Spain, defending their interests and highlighting how the development of a sustainable mining activity benefits the economy.
A platform for the development of Metallic Mining in Spain
Throughout its fifteen years of activity, AMINER has carried out intense dialogue and institutional engagement with Public Administrations and other national and international sectoral and professional organisations. At the same time, it has brought citizens closer to the current reality of mining through various initiatives, showcasing a sector based on innovation and respect for the environment in which extraction companies operate.
Among the main activities carried out by the Association are the seminars of the Mining Studies Chair–Aminer at the University of Seville, the Technical Workshops, a forum for knowledge exchange among member companies, the ENCUENTROS 5.0, open to professionals, companies and public administrations for the dissemination of technological advances and new business management practices aimed at improving competitiveness, efficiency and sustainability, and the Mining and Minerals Hall, the International Mining Exhibition, which will reach its sixth edition in 2026, positioning itself as a leading international meeting point for the mining industry.
MMEvents is the company specialised in organising professional events linked to Aminer. Its main objective is the organisation and management of MMH – Mining and Minerals Hall, the major international meeting point for the mining sector, as well as providing comprehensive planning, production and event management services to Aminer’s member companies, as well as to other institutions, associations and professional organisations.
